JAN 7843 TRANSMITTING VACUUM TUBE produced for the RT-524 radios used in Jeeps from Vietnam War

  

The 7843 is a compact external anode radial-baem tetrode for use

in rf power amplifier  aplications and audio freguency amplifier or

modulator. 

 The tube is designed to be conduction cooled and 

  has a 26.5 volt heate.

 

The 7843 has an F1 rating of 1215 output MHz for full-rated power input and is tested to show a useful power output of 80 watts at 400 MHz.

The 7843 is identical to the type 6884 except for the anode configuration and cooling technique required.
